Lycanthropia by LynneKitty

Lycanthropia

LynneKitty

Lycanthropia, the anthro form of my wolfSelf.

She ages with me, and she means a lot to me...she isn't so much a character than she is a facet of my personality... one I rarely show except to my most beloveds.

She tends to be brash, bold, charming, romantic. She is a scoundrel and a thief and a bit of a gypsy or pirate. She's never quite one or the other but holds many qualities of both. She enjoys wooing beautiful maidens, sword fighting, and reciting poetry. She is the more romantic side of my nature, more open, more expressive. I don't know how to explain this. However, remember, this is Lycanthropia, NOT my wolfSelf. There are different traits associated with Her. Lycanthropia is more.. humanized. Anthropomorphized, actually.

As a character, she has black hair, and her fur is a light silvery grey color in summer and a shimmery white in winter. She can and does assume full wolf form, and her wolf form follows the same fur pattern. Her eyes are eerily dual-colored, between purple and green, depending on the angle of how you look at them... and of course, the green is easier to see when she's a full wolf, while the purple is easier to see when she's in anthro form.

I am currently reviewing, Resurrection, and rehashing some characters, personas, and facets. She is the first in line.

And with each one, there comes a little-known fact about me. This one being: I am afraid of the dark when I am alone.

Drawn with a 10 cent mechanical pencil in my grandmother's living room.

Inked with my new pens from Walmart. sigh Those were disappointing... they used to be good pens and then they changed them so now they don't flow as smoothly. I blame them for the ragged edges on my lines in the full view.

Then after I let the ink dry and erased the pencil, I noticed places I had missed.. and I was watching Brett play a demo for Enclave..which looks bad ass...and couldn't find my ink pen.. so filled in the missing places with a black ballpoint.. Her HAIR.. I am really quite proud of it..I drew each strand separately and it took FOREVER...but I think it was well-worth it. It looks as cool as I was hoping to make it.
