practice animated sprite avatar - Short by LycheeMonster (critique requested)
Opportunity linked me a ref in my FA journal and i though i could use her character to practice my spritemaking! critique and constructive critisism would be awesome!
i used my favorite program since middle-school: Pixen (although i've encountered some bugs with the Lasso tool, but those are easily avoided).

I really love the design and the tail twitch part! The only thing tht really bothers me is that the wing frames aren't really animated as well as the tail. Otherwise, the sprites are very well done! Keep up the good work!

yes! i kept it simple with the ears and wings, since they were part of the bounce sprite. if standing is vA, then the bounce is vB. the tail animation i thought of in a separate section i guess. i'm trying to gauge complexity. maybe i should practice some wingly animations... i have the perfect subject! thank you for the critique~
