I use them a lot with bogus paper and graytone, they give a good gritty chalk/colored pencil look :]
also check out hobby lobby and michael's websites for sales on sakura gel pens, they run them from time to time and when they do they go from being like, 2 bucks down to 75 cents lol

Man I LOVE these inks- this is on one of those brown recycled sketchbooks right? I always really like when people draw in those. :>
I also always wonder what kind of white gel pens people are using for the highlights in these kind of pictures, haha. All I can think of is those shitty kind that would die in a day you got from like... the school store in elementary school.-

White gel pens that WORK are expensive... I thought I could fight the system by getting a really huge pack of cheap gel pens, and the thing wouldn't mark over colored pencil... I was so sad, but that's what I get for trying to be sneaky. >_>
