it's been a while since i've pulled out the tablet. it's been mostly doodles in sketchbooks when i have the drive.

it's strange; developing as an artist is full of rough patches of wondering why and where your art is going, and what kind of things you choose to render and how. what comes from the arrangement, what it's portraying, and how. there's more to line and 'cleanliness.' maybe it's not about being clean and clear. with big graphic styling i find myself wondering more about why so strong a line? what is the impact?
