I was having difficulty drawing fluff on characters so my boyfriend showed me how and told me to try drawing the Fennekin evolution line. He said drawing them a lot helped him figure out how to draw fluff well.

So here I am! I drew six sketches of Fennekin. I had not drawn Fennekin yet at that point, so I had it took me a while to get a feel for drawing Fennekin. I do think I have gotten better at drawing fluff, so I'm glad I made progress here. I still don't know how to draw tufts of fur when they're pointing at the viewer however. Notice the tails on some of the sketches.

Also, I made sure not to just copy poses or pictures that I found. I wanted to try doing unique poses since I felt that would help me learn the character a lot better.

Expect to see sketches of Braixen and Delphox too. They're made out of 80% fluff so they should be good practice too.

These were done in Clip Studio Paint over two days on my new "Huion New 1060 Plus" graphics tablet. It seems to be working out well for me so consider picking it up if you're looking for a new graphics tablet.
