Here we go, my entry for ProudAnthroArtist's Halloween contest on deviantART.

I'd like to introduce a character I've long been wanting to show, but haven't had a good enough drawing to submit. This here is my character, Lurigo Freefox, dressed up as Jason Voorhees from the horror movie series, known as Friday the 13th.

Now, you would notice that my username and this character's name is the same. That's because this is, indeed, my foxified self. I've drawn him a great number of times, but those were only sketches. This is the first proper drawing that I could finish that is up to standard with my other drawings in my gallery. I'll draw another drawing soon, with explanations about where everything started and where the name came from.

Anyways, this was a really fun drawing to draw. Not just because I could finally draw Lurigo, but also since I could experiment with torn clothing and most of all, a new technique I've figured out for drawing hair. All in all, I surprised myself again. From simple sketch to detailed drawing, this took me about 6-8 hours total.

Some interesting stats:

Materials used: A4 paper, eraser and 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 automatic pencils. Also used a little Photoshop to add some finishing touches and to fix where my scanner screwed up.

Time: 6 to 8 hours
