Woo, finished my half of the art trade with one of my awesome artist friends, Skye!
Was a bit of a challenge drawing this, but I enjoyed every moment of it, plus it felt nice drawing a decent pencil drawing again. This was drawn using pretty much three pencils, a 2B 0.7, a 2H 0.7 and a 0.3 with some or other lead for the details. Done on a piece of 120gsm drawing paper. Also used my trusty ol' tortillon for helping smooth out the shading. Now I didn't keep track of time, but since I'm so easily distracted, it took longer than I had hoped. Sketched this 19 days ago, but as the majority of those days were in my exams, I didn't draw much. After finalizing the lines, I finished the shading in the last three days.
Thank you!! ^^
I'm a great fan of traditional myself. It's where I started with art after all. Loooooove pencils! :D
Flat? In a specific place or overall? Is it very noticeable too?
Thank you so much again!!
Sure thing! I was just talking in general, first impressions of the art. A good point example would be her right leg. It doesn't look "round", it's kinda flat. I can't really point out why. I am always bad at noticing specifics, but better at the general feel. I wouldn't say it is a big deal, the picture still looks fantastic.
Anyway, good luck with your future art! :)

Very nice, quite the pretty lady.
Well done, I have always loved the look of traditional pencil. There is something about your shading that makes her look a little flat, however. Anyways, nice job. You earned yourself a favorite.
