  I like the mechanics and the set-up, but the setting tends to run a little too dark for me. The gaming group has joked that my lighthearted GM version is called "World of Intermittent Patches of Shade."

    Yeah, the setting's darkness is usually based solely on the group running it, haha.

      The question since I started playing in the WOD is 'How dark is your world of darkness?' I prefer mine with some light and hope, not the darkness and angst most folks go for.
