Katanagana by Luprand

Katanagana

Luprand

Hiragana (平仮名, "ordinary characters") - used for suffixes, grammar particles, native Japanese words, and pronunciation guides for kanji.
Katakana (片仮名, "fragment characters") - used for foreign loanwords, emphasis, sound effects, and scientific terms.
Katanagana (刀名) - Letters carved with the stroke of a sword.

My apologies to Iaido for dragging his character into one of my relentless cross-lingual puns.

Whether I understand the pun or not, I agree with the pandger not letting it get to him.

Just a combination of "katakana" and "katana." Prince Iaido is so skilled with his swordplay that he can write while he fights.
