Dustyn and I lost a very dear friend yesterday (Dec 26th, 2014). There was a high-speed police chase on Christmas night and the cops accidentally T-boned the car that our friend Taylor was in as they crossed an intersection. He was kept on life support at the hospital until yesterday afternoon when they decided to take him off because there was just no chance he would recover. Of all the people that Dustyn works with, he stood out to me. Always made me laugh and pretended to be angry that we didn't always choose him as our waiter when we ate at Texas Roadhouse. He was there when we got engaged and was the first person to run up onto the bridge and give us a big hug. It has been a sad few days for many people.
