Haikus #1 by Lunarphase

Sakura petals
veil the river pink like a
brand new kimono.

My dear beloved,
your face evokes a rosebud
blooming when you smile.

Cyclone winds of change
leaving scattered dreams behind.
floating in silence

Trapped in this limbo,

I flutter between twilights
searching for a dawn.

Sometimes I wonder,
do my words fall on deaf ears
or am I just mute?

Slumped on the couch,
coma-inducing boredom
has numbed my senses.

Caramelldansen
is now playing in your head.
You're very welcome.

New Ikea desk.
All pieces accounted for.
Where's the instructions?

I'm really lazy.
antidisestablishmentarianism

Peeking from my shell,
"I know I don't belong but,
please, give me a chance."

Regardless of skill,
uploading always brings for-
mat paranoia.

Whether brief insight,

captured beauty, or nonsense,
haikus one and all.

Haikus #1

This is my first batch of haikus that I submitted to FA some time ago. Now they are here you all of you to enjoy.

Hope you are having a pleasant day.

Yours,
