Urzabeth by Lunarius

Urzabeth

Lunarius

This was done as a gift for my husband in thanks for buying me some new watercolour paints. The character is Urzabeth, my Draenei Paladin from when I used to play WoW.

This was painted on da Vinci Paint Co., watercolour postcard paper with Dr. PH Martin's Hydrus liquid watercolours.
I used:
• Quinacridone Magenta
• Sepia
• Payne's Gray
• Gamboge
• Phthalo Green

The linework was done with Helix pigment-ink liners.

Nice style. Have you ever tried to draw Elric? If you don't know who he is look up Michael Moorcock's Elric. I would love to see you take on him.

      Thank you!

I have not, no. In truth I had to look him up, as you suggested--my immediate thoughts went to the vampire Kain, of the Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series. I'll keep an eye out for Moorcock's work the next time I'm book shopping; if fan art is inspired I'll certainly let you know if I post any.

Well Moorcock has written many many books and Elric was his first Hero/antihero (most of the albino, dark heroes you ever heard of were taken from Elric as the first). Start with the First Elric book, it should be easy to find.
