Commission for cricetorocker of Raz! ^^ The meaning behind this came from this character's awesome background. In case you can't tell... he's an angel of sorts ^^  

I LOVE this guy, I'm so happy I've gotten the chance to paint him again  This took longer than expected but I'm very happy with the result ^^ I'm attempting more "painting" style.... by blocking in the basics first and then zooming in to fix up all the details. I'm actually impressed I was able to do it!

I know the size of the background is a bit odd.... I wanted it to be large enough to show his shadow so it looks a bit off. Also painting his hair was fun yet difficult xD But I like how it turned out. 

Fun fact: The title for this piece came to me while I was playing Diablo III.... When you're exploring a map and it's dark and gradually is revealed.... I was all "Tee hee it's the edge of darkness" and then realized that was an awesome title... Yeah, I'm a nerd. I'm ok with that.

2nd fun fact: Raz doesn't have a tail and has 3 toes on his feet! ^^
