Has potential for developing personality, but lacks many qualities to be considered to have a soul.

Appearance: Like most Medds, Eternal is entirely gray with long fluffy fur. One eye appears as a round circle, the other is missing. He has many sharp teeth and the ability to create a glowing, swirling aura from his mouth.

Eternal wears a series of bandages over his missing eyes and some type of white overalls over a sickly green shirt. His shoes are brown, gloves dark blue and belt with pouch, likewise brown. Blood splatter stains are on quite a good portion of his clothing.

Bio: Not much is logged about Eternal. Prior to project Grave Vault, he was a surgeon. As many of the other Medds, most of the memories associated with such are now nothing to him. He recalls being a surgeon but no more than this. As is the case of most Medds, his views have become obscured and although his sanity is higher than a good portion of the other Medds, it is certainly nothing to brag about. At best, it has a sliver of reasonability and the sense to understand that just because he can get his hands on something, does not necessarily mean the risks involved in snatching it away are worth it.

Many Medds have developed strange abilities from their less than ideal environment on Grave Vault; Eternal’s are debatably odder than most. As a means of self-preservation and much exposure to unsafe chemical conditions and radiation amongst a handful of other fun odds and ends of their planet, he can absorb the life energy of others, whether plants or sentient creature. When doing such a strange blue fog is emitted from his glowing mouth and surrounds his prey. It most often enters via mouth, but that is not the only means. The fog works like some kind of ghostly hands and is able to pierce through things like eyes and such if it so desires. It does not cause physical, immediate damage, but it essentially poisons it and causes very rapid deterioration if no cure is presented fast enough.

It is under speculation as to if Eternal’s adaptions have caused any change to his set expiration date, perhaps even voiding it. He has survived against the odds for quite some time, thus the name Eternal. Eternal gets in his fair share of fights with the other Medds over scouts.

Eternal’s favorite thing to do, which is not much of a surprise, is to perform surgery—especially on the fleshy scouts that turn up every few months. If he is lucky enough to snag one before the others, they can provide hours of entertainment with all sorts of fun medical procedures…or horrors. Eternal is quite the professional of extending his victim’s life so that the fun is not short lived.

Eternal lost one of his eyes to another of the Medds—a relatively frequent happening. The fragments of personality that he does possess make him behave something along the lines of being primarily quiet with the occasional bouts of insane amusement and disturbing laughter.
