Invader Name: Ghost Codex

Official Name: Trorr Bl’iitz

Height: 5’1’’

Technical Gender: Male

Age: 19 1/2

Nickname: Ghost

Species: Common Qwuedeviv (Mutant 'deviv by debate)

Rank: Former Voidshark; Elite

Appearance: Ghost’s fur has the dark blue shade that Qwuedeviv working in The Void are known for. It also developed strange bright white markings all over its body. Exposure to the deep space environment tends to do this to Qwuedeviv in less specific patterns normally, so it isn't entirely odd.

Personality: Ghost is not a very friendly Qwuedeviv; it is notably very on edge and tends to reply with quick, snappy remarks. Ghost is very anti-social and prefers to keep to itself as much as possible. It doesn’t trust anyone, and has no issue with making this fact known. It is very quiet of its own accord and has been known to glare others down. It rests on a dangerous border of sanity and berserker with paranoia. It often struggles to focus on which voices to listen to if many are talking at once, causing it to panic and become enraged. This is all post effects of working in The Void and nearly losing its mind there.

Background: Ghost started out as a young recruit to The Void, but as many voidsharks, simply couldn’t cope with the conditions. It found itself dangerously close to the border of berserker and began entering a state of panic. Luckily for this little Qwuedeviv, the arbitrator, Gloaming, decided to hand choose it as a sort of test to see if they could be rehabilitated from such a state. Transitioning from this job to another is unheard of, and Ghost itself was highly skeptical at first—mostly that there were other motives for trying. With time, however, Ghost began to accept the fact that not all of its species were bad and began looking up to Gloaming who seemed forever patient and continuous in giving it another chance whenever it would lash out against its superior.

Ghost has an interesting skill that has not been seen in any other Qwuedeviv. That is, full camouflage. This skill suits it best outside of The Void. It uses its ‘invisibility’ technique for whatever purpose Gloaming has need of.

Ghost prefers to fight tactically. It has a lot of knowledge in a wide range of weaponry. It is quite the loner and is the most willing to accept solo missions. It uses its appearance for intimidation even despite its lack of height—most creatures fear things they are unfamiliar with after all. Ghost is often sent to infiltrate target locations and set explosives within. It has great admiration for Gloaming and tends to watch the Qwuedeviv closely and attentively.

Ghost still has not fully adjusted to life outside of The Void, but with small steps and observing Gloaming, it has been becoming more reliable, less unpredictable and even seems to be starting to enjoy some of the things in life—even if it has a very odd way of showing it.

Random Facts:

Ghost is bioluminescent. This tends to become more apparent when it is irritated or excited. Thus is also works good as an indicator for Gloaming to know when it likely needs to speak up to the ex-Void deviv.

Ghost’s clothing is made of thin, silk-like, pliable material which additionally is capable of cloaking. It wears this since otherwise its little invisibility technique would not work. It is an expensive thing to produce though, thus all Qwuedeviv soldiers do not get the same option. Working under the arbitrator has some perks.

Ghost can turn itself completely invisible (thus its name). The phenomenon is not entirely understood by the Qwuedeviv scientists, although it is under speculation that it has a lot to do with a heightened illusion ability bordering onto the line of mirage and additionally, a surge in heat to environment ratio from its self-generated bioluminescence. Some also would classify it as a mutant simply for not holding properties that a normal Qwuedeviv has. Regardless to what causes it, it is not something naturally occurring in Qwuedeviv and thus how it has developed such is something of a mystery.

Ghost essentially is indebted to Gloaming since the Arbitrator had its life spared and offered it a new line of work.

Ghost has great respect for Gloaming, even if the same can’t be said for much of anyone else.

Ghost tends to be very tense around anyone new, or anyone other than Gloaming. The arbitrator seems to be a master of knowing how to settle the Qwuedeviv down though and calm its nerves to new and strange situations.
