A character I had thought up a little while ago but never got around to drawing.
Phillipe is a cannoneer, a literal heavy weapons guy and a member of the Republic Guard alongside Silverlance. He carries an actual breech-loading cannon modified with a triggering device, similar to the light mounted cannons used to defend various outposts and strongholds in his homeland. He carries two large pouches on his hips, each containing several cartridges for his cannon. Each individual cartridge consists of a shell and the powder necessary to propel it, wrapped in paper, and each of these cartridges is then stored individually in a tough cloth sleeve of sorts.
His armor is also quite a bit thicker and heavier than that of his counterparts (like Silverlance), as firing his cannon requires him to stand still and brace himself, leaving him vulnerable to enemy attack.
