This week's Tuesday Portrait Cutepost features another forgotten/unused character, Rosario, a gangster I drew a couple times in 2016/2017 and considered having be Amika's boyfriend.

After mentioning him for the first time in years in the description of a recent drawing of the equally neglected Amika, I decided I should at least do an updated portrait of him and maybe try to develop him a bit.

However, this does lead to a bit of an issue--I'm not 100% sure Amika is compatible with an actual thug or gangster. I don't recall but I think my original ideas for Rosario involved him being on the fence about actual serious criminal activity, being a young guy and petty criminal from a rough neighborhood that fell in with a rough crowd, so maybe Amika can be part of his redemption arc.

I also do have art of him behind bars from 2017, so maybe once he gets out he tries to straighten his life out and turn things around, and that's when he meets Amika.
