More Cuddle Spuds, this time a baby Geoterran Ferret.

The presence of ferrets in the Geoterra canon is fairly recent, as I only started drawing them for a brief period in 2019 and the only named character example of one is Ziggy (who is very similar to the prototype drawing), but the history of the concept goes back to 2009 or 2010 when a pipe burst near my drawing table and ruined a bunch of WIP drawings--one of which was a concept for a ferret character. It took me roughly a decade to revisit the concept, and it was challenging to basically redesign something while both keeping true to my designs from the time, while also moderizing them a bit.

Also, I find it quite difficult to design anthropomorphic ferrets in general, with their long bodies and short limbs being challenging to represent in any way that either holds true to ferret proportions while looking like a halfway practical creature, or doesn't just end up looking like some sort of "generic anthro" with a ferret paint job.

Somehow, I feel like this little guy hits all the right notes, and he's probably my favorite Cuddle Spud since the first one I drew and posted, the little Geoterran Hyena.
