Since I seem to randomly talk about how cool I think it would be to be a robot sometimes, and having the ability to do so (artistically at least), and while I'm desigining myself potential avatars/alternate fursonas in pretty much every species I have designed... here's Delta Seven.

I haven't really decided much about him yet, although I think he's the same model as B4-7T0 (and, by extension, the Possum County characters like Wally Wolf and Penny Possum), as these old bots have a bit of a tendency to develop independent personalities and act well outside of their initial programming. He's clearly been modified over the years, outfitted with an armored skull mask and some additional infrared illuminators and targeting rangefinder, and while I haven't drawn his body yet, it will be far more heavily armored than his OEM counterparts and probably feature some added onboard weapons.

Being a robot would definitely have its advantages--not getting tired, not needing sleep, not needing food, being able to repair or upgrade or modify your body with relative ease, not being distracted by having weird fetishes and their associated biological urges, increased strength, concealed onboard weaponry, being able to change your voice, the list goes on... I might miss pizza if I were a robot, but I wouldn't miss paying for food in general OR having to use the bathroom once I've processed the nutritional value from it.

To a robot putting up with the wet ware, their insistence on ludicrous humidity levels, absurdly inefficient operating temperatures and don't even start me on oxygen in the work place - all might count as weird fetishes

Humans have some very specific requirements to remain operational, and even then, their performance and reliability varies wildly from individual to individual, and even the same individual can be rather inconsistent from day to day. Too many variables.
They're also far too easy to incapacitate and can be offline for weeks or even months whereas repairs to a machine to restore them to full operational capacity may only take minutes if the appropriate tools and replacement parts are on-hand.

      Yet, they are fascinating creatures...
