I've drawn baby versions of some of my other alien races, so next on the list was a Ventrannan.

I wasn't really sure how to dress him, or what sort of clothing his kind would have for their infants--the adults tend to wear clothing over their upper torso only and often leave their hindquarters exposed, or if they do need to cover up fully because of the weather they will wear something like a poncho over the rear half, but I couldn't decide if I wanted the infant to dress in a similar fashion, or have some sort of onesie (dressing a wiggly six-legged creature in footie pajamas might be a lot of work, though) to keep them warm.
So, right now, he's just wearing his little diaper, perhaps waiting for his parents to pick out an outfit for him.

Odd bit of lore detail I thought of while drawing this one, many of these alien races wouldn't make use of disposable diapers, be it lacking the technology or resources for manufacturing such things, or concerns about generating waste, or other reasons. While this little guy's diaper seems to have the tape strip found in disposables, it's a cloth one and his diaper is actually held on with buttons! They're just not visible because of how he's standing.

Other than that, though, I don't really have much more lore or background for this race beyond what I've described in the past. For now, at least, the Ventrannans remain a somewhat mysterious species, many details of their society and way of life remaining unknown to the rest of the galaxy.

Drawing "taur" type characters is a bit challenging for me so I went with a pretty simple and basic pose here to try to familiarize myself with drawing them a bit more, not to mention the "want uppies" pose is a classic.
