2018's drawing of Dominic Wolff.

I don't really draw him very often, and I'm not sure why, but I think part of it comes down to just not really being comfortable with doing so... that might sound rather odd, but he is a far more serious character that what I usually work with, and he is a human, which I have a bit of trouble drawing regardless. Much like Silverlance, I never really feel satisfied with any of my art of him.

I really do need to get more comfortable with drawing him (and humans in general), but I don't think the way to do that is to not draw him at all... yet if memory serves, this was the last time I bothered to draw his human form, instead switching over to using his transformed state exclusively since.

I know he's not of much interest or relevance to 85% of my watchers, who are following me for diapers and/or underwear and/or furry butts, but he's important to me and the lore of at least one of my worlds and its stories.
Also I have NO IDEA how to tag most art of him for effective searching...

Interesting to see your style applied to a human, when I first started looking at art it surprised me how many artists develop complex back stories to there characters now I am beginning to wonder if it's almost essential like a mental reference sheet to keep the feel of a character. Have you published any of the lore and stories? Hope you don't mind the number of comments I have been making, don't feel obliged to answer.

Thanks! I have some pretty in-depth backstories for some of my characters, but not all of them. As for publishing it, though... I really haven't, outside of little bits of lore and storytelling here and there in the comments and descriptions of art, or when people ask.
Dominic Wolff here is a challenging one because he was pretty much my first character, back when I was really little he was my "action hero" alter-ego/persona. So he's gone through a lot of phases based on what sort of stuff I was into at any given time, and as of late I've been trying to refine that all into some sort of cohesive character. This has given him a sort of "living legend" status in-universe, where tales of his heroics are sometimes greatly exaggerated--but he's still definitely an action hero even if the kill counts are rounded up a bit and the explosions are a bit bigger when other characters pass stories about him around.

I don't mind you commenting one bit! I appreciate having someone to chat with, it just sometimes takes me a bit to respond to my comments. It's especially nice here, since this is such a quiet site compared to what I'm used to. I think I saw you on FA a couple weeks ago as well, how has that been going?

Hi, I haven't been on FA enough to have an opinion yet DA is still my favorite site but I guess it's different being a watcher rather than a contributor. It's the artists I follow rather than the site but on DA you seem to get more chains of people commenting and interaction between different contributors. I particularly like crossover work, if you get two artists with differing styles and or using different media drawing each others characters when it's done well with respect and sensitivity to the originators intent for the character the results can be excellent and lead to growth of both characters and lore. The best examples I can think of would be Olaffson and Hunter being Hunted, I wouldn't want to say who is the better artist but I am fairly sure both would agree that their art has benefited from seeing the others take on their characters. I also like the fact that you get a lot of very knowledgeable people commenting - I learn things I would not have encountered otherwise.
