Some people had suggested I should try drawing more reptiles, so I tried.

I later decided that he's an alien, and that explains why he has some non-reptilian features like hair and ears and horns. His name is Pliskert, and a handful of his people live out in the desert. When you live in a world with all sorts of other sapient anthropomorphic critters walking around, it's easier to blend in as one of them even if you're actually descended from aliens that arrived on the planet 70 or so years ago.

His "hair" is actually long feathery plumage, like what my avian characters have.
