The first time I've drawn a full-body picture of one of these evolved cyborg/armored hyenas since 2009...

The idea behind these guys is that they are an "evolution" of the standard saber-fanged hyenas, where a combination of magic and science-fiction bullshit causes them to rapidly transform into this more advanced form. This new form features limbs and a skull helmet made of "bio-steel" and wings with jet engines that enable them to fly. I can ramble at great length about this concept, the parameters necessary for the transformation and how it works and what its capabilities and limitations are but I'll only do that if there is some interest in it.

It can also shoot lasers out of its mouth. That's always cool.
