2015 art, pretty sure the thought process was "I want to draw a zombie" and then I drew a zombie.

Description from the original submission page:

This guy seems to have met a fate worse than death... Judging by his surroundings and attire, he was one of the soldiers sent in to deal with the outbreak before succumbing to it himself, cursed to wander the contaminated zone until his body rots to nothing or another soldier puts a few bullets through his head.

Poor guy's even splattered with blood, perhaps that of his squad mates after he turned...
