Skunk Boy's Nose (2013)

LordDominic

2013 art.

Copy-and-pasted description from the original submission page:
Something I actually get asked fairly often is, just what is up with Skunk Boy's nose? Is the snout somehow real, or grafted on? If it's just an accessory, what is underneath it? Why does it have teeth on the end?

While I have said a few times that he is a human wearing costume pieces, I never really show him without animal accessories. Here he is with a convenient mystery hand tugging on his costume snout, revealing his plain, uninteresting, round human nose and face. The snout is held on with a cartoony stretchy elastic band, magically tight enough to hold the snout in place pretty much regardless of what he is doing, while still loose enough to not cut into his skin or chafe or anything like that. It's also magically stretchy enough to be pulled that far away from his face. As for the snout itself, it's just a simple, hollow black faux fur snout with a shiny plastic/rubber nose and two plastic teeth.

It's gonna sting when the hand lets go of the snout and the bands make it snap back...

2019 Dom needs to add: This description is only 90% accurate, it refers to Skunk Boy as "a human wearing costume pieces", at this point in time I hadn't yet decided that he's a half-skunk manchild whose tail is real and comes equipped with a functional skunk butt, but wears costume ears and a costume nose to pass as merely an awkward furry or cosplayer, which is somehow less awkward than being a skunk boy.
