My Kindle was on the fritz, so I didn't take it to work, electing to take my sketchbook instead. While I was there, I decided to revisit a one-shot character from http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1176090/, partly because I actually did like the design, and partly because I felt that I owed the character a little more limelight due to some...awful comments I made back then. So, now she's been promoted from one-shot jobber to co-worker for Freyja and Lucia.

Meet Rahimateh Massari, aka "Alteira," aka "The Aerial Assassin." Originally from Egypt, she emigrated to the US to pursue a life-long dream in acrobatics. Sadly, she had found her chosen profession rather inaccessible, and was forced to do odd jobs to get by. One night, when working as a curtain-jerking jobber for a visiting wrestling show to make a rent payment, she made a connection with her opponent, the old vet Manticore, who changed the booked squash to a legitimate match and gave Rahimateh a badly-needed spotlight for her talents. She now is a regular feature on LAW as a mid-card high-flying heel. She has shown open contempt for her own safety and physics itself, willing to take whatever risk to wow the audience even as they booed her for opposing the faces. A career-defining moment for her was when she convinced a powerhouse face to power-bomb her onto a security barrier, earning her the backstage nickname of "Rubber," due to the after-match comment of her opponent that "she must think she is made of rubber." Out of the ring, she's passive and unassuming, preferring to ease quietly into assimilating into her new country.
