"Carried them down from the woods in that petri dish like container. Put them in the bigger one at bottom. Added some water. Added a cricket I found later. Probably let them go in a day or two. I’ve kept a slug before."

Some of the slugs were browner than the others but some were pretty orange. not like neon orange but a earth-tony orange. And they were on rotting wood that I’d left there from last time (when it wasn’t rotten), and it had some kind of orange fungus on it (not fruiting bodies, but flat kinda discoloration), and there were long orange rootlike things shooting across or though the wood in parts. These were at my old camp/ritual site.

Well, some seemed oranger than others. Wondering about the lighting and the contrasting colors around them. The first one I found struck me as ORANGE. Which is I think the one on the log with the fungus. Camera might not have picked up the vibrancy.
