      These sort apparently turn into toads.

        I saw some of the Canadian Bullfrog ones today -- their bodies are about the size of quarters.

          Might be American -- all I know is my folks been calling them Canadian Bullfrogs. I think one of my other relatives was raising those at one point and released some. Not good for the ecosystem. Some of these frogs stretch out to be about a foot long.

            Yep! the american bullfrog (pretty sure it's the same specie across north american) are HUGE. We raised a free green frog tadpoles that came in with kois at work. They were SO cute as froglets ;-;

            And toad tadpoles are so TINY jeez.

              The release of some of this might not have been detrimental then if they were local already

              • Link

                Meaning the "Canadian" bullfrogs, the toads are certainly local

                • Link

                  Ooooh yeah. Yeah that makes sense. And bullfrogs are voracious.
