Dark Angel

I love The Fool
Because he keeps me young,
as back before the Fall from simplicity.
Like a child to which I am mother-father.
I love a villain who does not know he is evil.
And I am either fool or damned,
to love him,
because no other sort will do.
I care not if we are good or evil,
-though I know the difference-
only for what the World will do to us.
The stories all say he will die in tragedy.
And it's always been impossible to protect him.
But I'd like to write a new Story,
Where the villain wins.
And reigns
And dies as Hero.
