A local natural history museum had a temporarily live reptile exhibit in 2010. On the last day I took the opportunity to do some life drawing.

These two sketches are of the same snake - a Gaboon Viper. It didn't move the entire time I was there, which is why I managed to get two sketches of it in the same pose from different angles.
