I love fandom’s headcanons about Aizawa’s family, but I thought of this and haven’t stopped laughing since.

Shouta is the black sheep of the Aizawa fam, who are absolute sunshine people who live up in Hokkaido running their hobby farm. Shouta never talks about them, and let his friends and others come to their own conclusions about his home life without bothering to correct them. The news only got out when Shouta took Eri and Shinshou to meet their grandparents on one of his annual trips north and he hasn’t known peace since.

Mai Aizawa, lovingly known as Maizawa to everyone she befriends, is just as snarky, dry and sarcastic as her baby brother, but is a total extrovert who lives to liven up the party. Her quirk, [b]Tactile Float[/b], is a weak telekinesis that only effects things she’s touched in the last 30 seconds; she tried throughout childhood to train her power into something stronger, but it never developed much. She’s the family kid that went to college and university for an Economics degree, and nowadays is running the business side of her parents’ farm. The best way to describe her and Shouta’s relationship is: Alexis and David from Schitt’s Creek lmao

Shoko Aizawa is Mai and Shouta’s mother, despite her dead eyes and tired manner, is an upbeat and hopeful woman who never hesitates to show love and compassion to those around her. However, she is the iron spine of the Aizawa family and will absolutely cut a bitch who threatens her livestock and/or children. Her quirk is [b]Null & Void[/b], which can temporarily nullify someone else’s quirk through skin contact. As a child, she was horrendously bullied for ‘stealing’ others’ quirks and others refused to let her touch them for years; when she saw that her son was going through similar treatment after his quirk manifested, she vowed to drown him in love and support so that he’d never feel the way she once did.

Noboru Aizawa is Mai and Shouta’s father, the quieter of the pair, but the main agent of chaos. He’s extremely tactile and will use any excuse he can to hug someone, so it’s lucky that his hugs are some of the best out there. He’s a curious sort who loves to learn and teach others, as well as lend a helping hand where he can. His quirk, [b]Look Up[/b], can make non-living objects he looks at float a few inches (or more if he concentrates), and his eyes glow when it’s activated. This side effect of his quirk has always made him self-conscious about using it, as it can be incredibly creepy to other people, but raising his kids to be positive about their quirks has boosted his own self-esteem too. Side-note: his farmer’s tan is permanent and awful.

Shoko and Noboru met while studying at college and became fast friends, only dating after a deep and frank discussion about their goals and views for the future. They married after graduation and moved to Mustafu to raise their new family, though they made the move to Hokkaido during Shouta’s second year at U.A, when Oboro died. They attempted to convince him to move with them, but he refused and stayed in the city in his own place in order to achieve his goals of becoming a hero. Shoko and Noboru are a prime example of a married couple that have never left the Honeymoon Phase and have no plans to ever do so, despite this disgusting their kids to no end.
