Yeah, I've realized recently that the types of details I've glossed over previously in art are what make or break a picture -- not just for me, but in general. It'll take a bit to apply this sort of design aesthetic to my other characters, but I think it's worth it.

It's the taking part that counts, and graciousness in defeat is an attractive quality. Also, violet is a good colour for her :)
Kudos for tackling a difficult species convincingly. It pays off in fascinating little details and textures.
