Some point when things were pretty rough over the last month I drew this piece to vent. I don't usually draw to let out emotion, but sometimes the rawness of colour can help get across a thought or feeling that nothing else really can. The general theme of this piece is one of resistance, fighting back against the world that would force you down, force you to become a part of the nightmare.

It also got me to try out giving my eevee some fighting hackles - although he isn't really geared up for such a thing. Soft fluffy spikes aren't going to do much damage! But it is a reminder that no matter what we can stand against the tide and shape our own destiny. Where there's a will there is a way and it all works out in the end, wherever we decide that to be.
