Age: Maianx grow quickly until their appropriate age, though sometimes, a few count the years they've been alive, like humans do. They do not grow old, and they do not die.
Death: Maianx, upon "Death," disappear as snow on the wind and travel to the coldest place on the planet they are currently on, where they are then encased in an icy "Egg" for at least a year while their body repairs itself.
What makes Maianx so special?: Well, the Maianx are related to the wolf, and are often called the alien wolf. Their fur is living ice, and is soft to the touch until they are in danger. They can manipulate their icy fur to harden stronger than titanium to protect themselves. The "fluff," hair, ears and tail flow like mist for that of the matriarchs. The Maianx also have tails at least two times the size of their bodies, and do not have digits on their paws. Matriarchs are also distinguished by the odd stripes on their shoulders and hind legs which gives them special ability, such as increased agility, speed, protection etc.
Distinguishing features of a Maianx: Large heads with small muzzles and large eyes, large "ears" that point backwards, ice fur, breathing mist.
History: King Bytor, and Queen Aleena gave birth to their daughter, Moshie. Right after the princesses reveal, one of the elders, Elder Grammie, approached the two and warned them of a great danger approaching their world. Upon Bytor asking what they could do, she grimly told them they had to sacrifice their daughter, Moshie and place the worlds energy source within her to stop this force, or it would become unstoppable and destroy the universe. After some talking among themselves, Bytor and Aleena decided to sacrifice their daughter and performed a ritual, where all of the power was placed into their baby daughter, who immediately fussed over the new power. The elders cast a spell to help her calm as much as they could, but with such great power within her, she was barely holding herself together. Moshie was then placed in the care of Bytors most trusted Guardian, Kuo, who took her in a Galaxy cruiser to planet Earth where he began to train her immediately how to control her power, though even he became afraid of her power at times. He had met a female there by the name of Eve, and married her, she had come from another relationship and had a few children, one of which was named Wilffire. Moshie and Wilffire bonded quickly, however, the happy family didn't last long, as Moshie was lead to believe that Kuo and Eve were her parents. Disaster struck and Eve fell very sick. It was a stormy night when she succumb to her illness and left the family torn and broken. Kuo couldn't face his family anymore and disappeared that very night. A rival wolf pack had come and finished off everyone else, however, Wilffire and Moshie escaped. The two disguised themselves as anthros and bought a human home where they lived for about two years before they decided to go back and pay respects to their fallen family, and to try and restart anew. They were met, however, with the rival pack that had killed everyone else. Moshie had not learned how to use her powers for defense yet, which resulted in her brother sacrificing his life for her to escape. She was chased ruthlessly until she had finally lost them and wept for her fallen brother. The years passed, and she made best friends who were like sisters to her. She taught herself to use her powers for good, and defense with the help of her new found family. One fateful day, King Bytor tracked Moshie down and told her everything, then expressed his disappointment as he learned about Kuo. It was then that he revealed that she was a princess, and invited her friends, and mate, Brickstin to their world to learn about the Maianx, and to teach Moshie about her princess duties. The rest is still to come!
