    Did you trace rudragons art....

Depends on what you mean, I used his Zarptag as a reference, but I didn't use it as a trace. It's also more for a modeling sheet then anything else.

I dont know what a Zarptag is honestly. But um... mh.... i would at least tell them so they know.

I left a message on his facebook club

Zarptag is the title of his reference sheet

Yeah, I can see why, I've been using Ben's (Rudragon's artist) artwork as a 3d modeling reference for almost a year now, so I might've just muscle memorized some things. Its supposed to look a lot like Ben's artwork though, since its in his Nimiveze Dragon style.

Cept for this lil guy I did in blender https://www.weasyl.com/submission/707836/ru-dragon-style-character, you're right. But most of the art in my gallery is commissions I paid for, not my art

If you want I can change his pose in Inkscape and replace the submission with that one so Its not so hard to tell that I didn't trace it

no no its fine! i believe you. I looke between there ref and your art and theres subtle but real differences ^-^

Too bad here's a pose I did with a 3d model and then vectorized it in InkScape https://www.weasyl.com/submission/762981/leviathan-the-nimiveze-pose-thingy Doesn't look very good, but its also my first attempt at mimicking a 3d pose in 2d art. The sad thing is the pose was traced almost directly from the 3D model, whereas this here drawing wasn't. I will admit though, even in this one, I did trace the hands, but that's not because I wanted to cheat, but rather because I wanted the hands to be perfecto, and I suck at doing hands even with vectors,

tracing is hard... i tend to just to any 3d model as a base to follow haha when i use the one on from clip art studio haha
