Maiden, Mother and Crone

The Maiden, Mother and Crone

Maiden, Mother and Crone are traditionally used to represent the flow of a woman's life, as well as the flow of the seasons in Pagan, Neo-Pagan, and Wiccan culture, similar to the Three Fates of Druidism.

The Maiden - The inner warrior. The lover, the fighter, and the hunter. Here she is represented by Bastet in the form of a black feline body.

The Mother - The nurturer, the care giver, and the teacher. Here she is represented by the white kitsune mask painted to be Amaterasu, and the Amaterasu's sundial weapon.

The Crone - The wise woman, the adviser. Here she is represented by Gaia in the form of a Vine tail.
