This is Chad Beaton, a 9-year-old green tiger cub that plays snare drum in a drum corps known as the Royal Rumblers, and looks up to Leo the Tiger as his hero. In our special story, "Harm from the Hybrid," he plays a vital role in defeating the villain from his favorite manga books, who came to life and tried to make Chad just a comic book character. In the end, Leo the Tiger (as the Marching Wonder) and Cripto granted Chad his wish, and Chad became the band-themed superhero known as the Justice Musician.

Chad just wears a shako (parade hat) here, but as the Justice Musician has a uniform.
