"WUT?"
I was aiming for a different perspective of her long beak, again mostly with artistic reference images in mind from a head on view.
Tequila ( Tiki for short ) was one of my co-workers from Country Critters when I lived in New York.
Tiki was a Collared Aracari ( Pteroglossus torquatus ), which is a member of the toucan family.
She was an amazing bird, and quite a character. Tiki was captive born and raised. She loved sparklies.
We would greet each other every morning when I came to work, with her trilling social call, followed by her nibbling gently at my marcasite ring.
Unlike a parrot’s beak, Collared Aracari beaks are actually rather fragile, the structural design being more like honeycomb inside.
