This is a piece I did as a memorial gift for a co-worker who lost his beloved canine companion.

Brutus was always with him and meant the world to him. It was bad enough our contracts at Mayo were due to end soon, and then he lost his best friend to old age. I wanted to do something special so he'd have something to remember Brutus by.

The inspiration for the scene came from Kurt's love of Wyoming, and the endless sky of "Big Sky Country", knowing that Brutus will be there waiting for him. He nearly broke down crying when I gave this to him at the office, saying it was one of the kindest things anyone had ever done for him.

The scanner ate the colors a bit.
