I felt like drawing some more characters I like that are from video games or other media. This pic took slightly longer than usual as these characters had slightly different body designs than I’m used to drawing.

First off is Gex, a character I’ve loved since I was like 6, one I’ve treated with great respect, though I do feel that he needs to be padded more in art. It’s better than my first attempt from years ago, but I still have difficulty drawing body types that aren’t part of my normal “mannequin sketch” system.

Next is Scaler, from the game of the same name. I remember passing by this game several times in Family video when it still had PS2 games, but never played it. Years later, I remembered this game’s title and cover art and looked it up. I loved Scaler’s design and immediately thought “yep, he needs to be drawn in diapers”. Yipthecoyotepup just beat me to drawing him in pamps, so I decided to draw him in a safety pin diaper for variety. Hopefully we can see more of this scale-butt in diapers :P

“I appear for the first time in years and this is what people are doing to me?” Scaler griped.

“You’ll get used to it, though I’m still not quite accustomed to it yet.” Gex said.

“At least you got more than one game”
