Hey hey I'm back again on my weekly art posting! And this time with a little something to finish off a long coming trio... introducing Bennie the buff blastoise, last of the pokebros and buddy of Vinnie and Charlie!
Ended up finding a really great picture that happen to tickle me and give me the needed ideas on how to portray Bennie and so far I am happy with how he came out, sure I need to tweak and adjust him a bit more to properly portray his larger upper half but I got far more engrossed with doing his head and getting that soft smile and sheepish almost loving look down pact! Which DOES play a part into his attitude and more intimate aspects. Also was a ton of fun to just mess around and work with some looks and some shapes. I did have quite a few “failed” attempts ( inculcating a more close pose to the inspiring picture but it looks very meh ) that I felt were not worth including, the head was a tough one as well I did attempt to put his trademark shell on but it looked very rushed took away most of the details on his back and arms and it needs some more time in the oven ( these may appear later who knows )

But coming on back to the sketch and what I mentioned here we have Bennie giving a little show of his backside complete with a knowing look and a nice bicep flex as much like Vinnie he's into the workout and training and wrestling scene ( its how he and Vinnie met so long ago and why they have a now friendly rivalry ) As well I had to have some fun with expressions and getting his look and face down and the lower right expression to me totally screams “you like what about me?” which plays into an idea I was tossing around with him...
Which was that Bennie is totally into bodies like a LOT, female and male and he's straight but BUT he might be asexual, see he loves to see and touch and study and enjoy bodies including his own, but he's not like entirely sexually aroused by them, if that makes sense.
Again just having fun with some ideas

Either way I'm so glad to have the three of them complete ( even if Charlie needs his body done up ) and I'm having a ton of fun thinking on their personalities and interactions with each other. So hope people enjoy and have fun out there!
