Description:

A Beast Digimon and a carrier of the X-antibody, Maumon is derived from the Egyptian word for Cat. Its data was only partially configured when it merged its date with a file on cats in Egypt, so to fill in the missing parts of its files it copied data from various digimon.

It is tan and resembles a small tiger or cat, and possesses a natural instinct of right and wrong. This sense of justice sometimes manifests so strongly that it will take up a role as guardian and caretaker of weaker digimon, or digimon it feels in need of guidance.
