Sphinxmon is an Animal Digimon whose name and design is derived from the Egyptian Sphinx. It is a Holy-species Digimon and is driven by a strong sense of balance. It bears a Holy Ring on its tail and is a Champion Level Digimon.

Sphinxmon were once found commonly in the Desert Regions of the Digital World, however, in recent times, they have all but vanished and sightings are so rare these digimon are considered myth and legend.
