I finally remembered to send the model of Raczoon's critter posed to a friend of mine to see how it would print out.
I. LOVE. IT!
This is simple black PLA plastic, and I would love to get more of these printed out, and maybe I can even paint them for people!
I just wanted to share this with you guys while I'm working on stuff that isn't really allowed to be shown to the public just yet (and also stuff that just isn't that exciting) - thanks so much!

Holy crap, that is cool!! I actually had just done some quick look-up on acetone treatment, but sadly this print is PLA, not ABS. In either case, I'll be sure to take a look into acetone treatment once my friend gets some ABS plastic! The results are gorgeous!! Thanks so much for providing extra info on it. <3

Same premise, just requires a different chemical. PLA should be easier since its biobased.
