And another commission completed! A painting of Skyder sailing through the air, and almost out of the camera's viewrange!

I really am happy with how this has turned out - with the help of an absolutely stellar bat photo from Mantamola's blog http://tinyurl.com/kdfs464 , I was able to achieve an effect with the wings that I've been striving to accomplish for a while - making the bony elements of the wing more integrated into the wing's soft tissue, and with that, the sense that the wings have a little more substance and realism. Add to that the help from the ref to guide me on lighting, the absolute leap I took using 100% white for the rim lighting, inspired by Khyaber's stunning work, and we have this! Goldblaze provided the initial sketch, but was heavily modified to acquiesce with Skyder's predilections. Thank you so much for commissioning us, Skyder - I haven't worked on a flying dragon in a looong time, and it came through brilliantly!
