These were done before the digital practice sketches that I uploaded yesterday. I am such a sucker for German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois faces, and Willow's is no exception. I just melt when I see her sweet-looking eyes. It's the proportions and defining skin wrinkles around the eyes, I tell ya!
Also, Chloe is a goof - she (and Willow) will randomly upend themselves to lie on their backs, often against a vertical surface like the couch or a wall. XD It was a good opportunity to get some quick sketches in for sure. : )
I also was unprepared for the ensuing cuteness, so all I had was my month planner. Apologies for the lines!

Sounds like your pups are "loungers." My rescued GSD is the same; he likes to sprawl out with his back up against something, usually my couch. He's a 100-lb. fluffy footwarmer in the winter months, so that's a plus!
And yeah, the random inversion thing seems to be a universal constant. When they do that, do you notice that they tend to sneeze a lot more? (Maybe it's just a GSD thing, I dunno.)
