Mutton Chops, Ahoy! by LeccathuFurvicael

Mutton Chops, Ahoy!

LeccathuFurvicael

A few work in progress renders for Scarlet-Harlequin-N, of an Orekroark as an art trade. The rest of the creature will have feathers, but I'm starting easy with the more fur-like feather filaments for the beard, mutton chops, and ears - eyebrows will be added soon as well.

I also went and remembered how to paint different materials on to the same subtool, so he now has nice juicy lips, eye-bits, and ear innards, along with some nice reflectivity in the horns and defined scales. XP I am really enjoying how he's looking so far!

DANG wow, those eyes are REALLY good nice and glossy looking, and the fur;/feathers are getting really nice. You'll have to let me in on your secret.

No worries! The eyes are a separate subtool and just have the ToyPlastic material on them : ) Same for the rest of the glossy 'wet' bits, but I had painted those on individually without separating them. The fur/feather things is a lot of trial and error with FiberMesh after masking the area I want to fill with the fibers. Cheers, and thanks for commenting! : D
