What the hell did I just paint?

No, but on a more serious note, I randomly had an idea spring to mind today, and I decided to paint it. The result is VERY different from my mind's vision, but it's ended up being a fantastic exercise, and an excuse to finally paint some cloud cover! I'm so sick of happy blue skies XD. And green. I'm sick of painting green. And leafy trees. Dead trees are so much more interesting right now! :iconScruffPuff: 's recent figure studies certainly helped spark this, though <3. Seriously, go check them out! Their hatching and editing are gorgeous.

Could potentially be a symbolic image connecting humanity with nature, the wildfires on the West Coast, the plight of the Spotted Owl, who knows. : D Have fun with it!
