Oh, I didn't really think of it that way, huh o.O
I guess this art style is just my means of coping with things these days, choosing surreal and symbolic stuff over usual vent art- which I find to be too revealing and inappropriate to share with others. So I draw stuff like this instead to vent. More open for perception that way.And the bleeding outline was an unintentional effect. My drawings done in Corel Painter have their colors diluted upon saving so I brighten/saturate the colors in Gimp, which messes with my lineart if I do it too much. But it does make for a pretty nifty effect :3

whoa like... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ART it got really psychedelic and trippy looking. its more.. like.. surreal and focuses on shapes and feelings rather than a concrete image or object. its like i'm lost in some weird ass larry carlson dream land and the ice cube is crying I'M SORRY PLEASE DON'T CRY. i also like this high contrast look, you pull it off in a unique and appealing way, like i like that slight outline bleeding from the line-art with the bit of colour in it makes it really pop out at ya.
