Updated my bakeneko character, Taro, since it's been a few years since I've last drawn her.
Fun facts:
-She's a bakeneko, which is a type of Yokai or spirit and cat-like trickster in Japanese folklore.
-She's also influenced by the Preta "Hungry Ghost" in buddhist folklore, a type of ghost that's greedy and always hungry with a thin neck and big stomach but is never satisfied.
-She was created as a means of coping with my eating disorder. She is malicious, ravenous and has an insatible appetite.
-She's the polar opposite of my main fursona Moth, whom is a tanuki and another magical creature of Japanese folklore.
